Lanna said she appreciated my honesty. Here ya go!
The kitchen-in a state I call "not really all that bad."
The living room. After being cleaned yesterday--see the floor?? It's been vacuumed!
What is happening to the window Mom found so offensive she cleaned it. "Look, Mommy! I make a face!"

HEhe, I like the overturned chairs.
Your kitchen is not bad. Just like mine, it has lots of stuff. I keep trying to explain to James the difference between clutter and dirt/grime/funky nastiness. They are *not* the same.
That desk looks familiar. Houses in Europe, houses in the US; one thing in common--Ikea. I suppose it should be no surprise. Any store that purports to be kid-friendly and sells awesome storage solutions at low-low prices was bound to succeed globally. :)
oh my! I don't think you have anything to worry about. There is no way that I am posting pictures of my house any place. My honesty only goes far enough to say that I need at least two days notice before any one stops by. Only two more months though and may be I can get back to the point that my door is always open.-Spring
My chairs are always in some sort of turned over state. They are forts/planes/boats/castles....
I totally agree about the cleaning. I have a lot of clutter. But i do try to keep the dirt and grime to a minimum.
Spring. I don't think you need worry. When Andy gets home you can just put him right to work!
Oh, and yes. I have a lot of IKEA stuff in my house. Cheap and nice. Works for me.
